  Just superb. Been here a few times and never disappoints. Steak was perfect, staff just awesome and the atmosphere and quality is great for a regional area. Can't wait for my next visit.

  We are regular visitors to the star hotel. I have never had a bad meal here and the meals are very generous in size! They’ve had lamb shanks on the menu over winter which were divine! The only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is that the meals do take a while to come out.

  I don't usually have high expectations for pub meals but the Star certainly was a pleasant surprise. My seafood pasta was nicely done. Seafood not overcooked and nice flavour. Definitely proper restaurant standard. My partner had eye fillet which looked rather good too.

  By far the best restaurant I have been to. Every meal is cooked using fresh produce, is delicious and cooked to 5 star perfection. The staff are friendly, professional and go out of their way to ensure their customers have a dining experience to remember and want to repeat the next time they choose to dine out.
