  Great place to sit and have a drink, the balcony up stairs is wonderful for relaxing events. Good functions spaces for all sized events. Great service with super happy staff!

  Wow!!! I would rate this place higher than most places in the upper end of central Melbourne!! The manager Fergus!! How lucky was a country town to find a manager so nice and loyal and friendly to every single person who comes in! Haven't experienced customer service like his ever!

  Rooms are quiet and dark overnight. Very close to most of town and easy after hours access. The rooms have been recently updated so all facilities in the room are new. Shower has a good amount of water pressure and minibar is well stocked.

  Cons: menu could do with more vegetarian/vegan options - while the one vegetarian main (moussaka) was lovely, it'd be nice to have a choice. Price is also in the upper range for Sale, so be warned if on a tight budget. Still, you get what you pay for, and what we got was excellent.

  Excellent service given by staff from check in to check out and accommodation is really comfortable and very well appointed. Having dinner is a treat With delicious and well plated well priced food again great service in the criterion restaurant - I recommend highly

  Pros: The food was fantastic, fresh, and well plated. The staff are friendly and attentive, checking in every now and again and quietly bringing another water bottle when needed. Bills can be divided between members of a group. Everything was clean and in excellent condition, with a lovely atmosphere and lighting that was neither too dim to read nor artificially bright. Service was very fast - the wait for our meals was hardly noticed.
